The pool is not attached in any way or form to the public supply. I get a letter that I need a double check valve installed to prevent possible backflow contamination to the public water system. How can this be since the pool is not attached to the supply. If I have to fill the pool, it is done with a hose that does not even enter the pool water. If I have to backwash it is done through the filter an out into my backyard because I have a good size yard.
