&#60;p&#62;You may be surprised, but &#34;private&#34; kickbacks like this are generally not going to cause legal problems for either company, although individual employees might be terminated/disciplined for being involved in a violation of company policy.    &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Because kickbacks violate most companies' policies, simply bringing the practice to light with the insurance company could solve the problem.  The risk of being wrong is that you could be accused of defaming the people and other company involved.  &#60;/p&#62;
