Is it permissible to include provisions in a living will that address specific religious issues regarding death and dying? (eg: Catholic right to life and natural death)

It is certainly appropriate in a living will to address the actions you want or do not want to be taken on your behalf based on your personal religious beliefs. Your local church office may even be able to offer you specific guidance. Here, for example, is a good brochure on the subject offered by the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh.
