I have been repeatedly intimidated and threatened over several decades by a male sibling. He holds at least three black belts in Taekwondo. Although I have clearly requested he desist in his unprovoked threats, he refuses to do so. During the latest incident, he, without provocation, made threatening gestures toward my female companion, causing her intense fear. Since that time, I have contemplated carrying a firearm in case of further attacks. I have prodigiously avoided this individual for years, but considering eventual funerals of family members, I have little choice but to come into future contact with said person. Do I have alternative recourse in this matter? Is my ready access to a firearm a reasonable legal option? Thank you
