Question: I live (rent, not own) in Illinois, but own a house in joint tenency with my sister in New York, and use the New York address on all of my checking, savings, and investment (including) retirement accounts. Do I have a choice of which state I write my will in? Can I write two indentical wills, i.e., one in each of the two states? (Note: No wife or children; my sister in New York is my only family; and I have no complicating assets.) Thank you.
