Current as of: 2010 A title insurer is subject to the penalties in ss. 624.418(2) and 624.4211 for any violation of a lawful order or rule of the office or commission, or for any violation of this code, committed by: (1) A person, firm, association, corporation, cooperative, joint-stock company, or other legal entity not licensed under this part when issuing and countersigning commitments or policies of title insurance on behalf of the title insurer.
