Is there any limit to the documentation a landlord may request from a tenant as part of the application process? Our prospective landlord is requesting proof of income, federal income tax returns, and credit reports. This seems excessive and burdensome. We have a perfect record of having paid rent on time and glowing references. Thanks in advance.
