All bonds issued by such county for the purposes herein provided may be issued annually over a period of not to exceed five (5) years, but the total amount of all such issues shall not exceed the aggregate amount fixed and stated in said resolution hereinabove referred to and adopted by the board of county commissioners of such counties. All such bonds shall be issued, registered, sold, delivered and retired in accordance with the provisions of the general bond law. Any bonds issued under the provisions of this act shall be subject to any limitation of bonded indebtedness of such county.
