Check for Updates to the Missouri Revised Statutes

The Missouri Revised Statutes as hosted by LawServer come from the Missouri Legislature, and are updated after the Legislature updates its own version of the Code. The Legislature does not immediately update the Code when a new law is enacted, however. So to bring your research up to the date it is sometimes necessary to look for laws enacted since the latest version of the Code was published. That information is available here.

John,

I assume you're asking in the context of an owner's failure to pay assessments. Yes, a condo association can lock someone out of "their" condo, but only after a foreclosure proceeding and sale. This is similar to a mortgage holder evicting someone from their home after a default. But a condo association cannot lock someone out without a court process like this.

Bobbye,

It looks like you would need to contact the funeral establishment that conducted the cremation. See section 194.350 of the Missouri Revised Statutes:

I am interested in teeth whitening as a business. I am not a dentist or hygenist and have been told that I can perform the whitening process by letting the client apply the gel, not touching their mouth. Is this true? I am very interested in this business but don't want to cross any legal boundaries. Please give me clarification. Thank you. Debbie
