There shall be a joint committee on code enforcement, consisting of each of the chairpersons of the following: the board of fire control, the electricians' board, the plumbers' board, the water well board, the board of architects, the board of engineers, the architectural barrier-free design committee, and the New Hampshire Building Officials Association. The chairperson of the board of fire control shall serve as chairperson of the joint committee. The joint committee shall meet at least annually to carry out its duties established under this chapter. The committee shall discuss matters of mutual interest in the areas of code administration, inspections, licensing, and certification.
