Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 39:4-139.11

  • person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 10. a. When a person whose license or motor vehicle registration has been suspended pursuant to subsection b. of section 9 of P.L.1985, c.14 (C. 39:4-139.10) satisfies the fines and any penalties imposed by the court, the court shall forward to the commission a notice to restore the person’s driver’s license or motor vehicle registration.

b. Upon receiving a notice to restore pursuant to subsection a. of this section, the commission shall record the restoration and notify the person of the restoration.
