ยง 145. Criminal penalties. Any person who knowingly violates any provision of this article and any officer or agent of a corporation who knowingly permits the corporation to violate any such provisions shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction therefor shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or imprisonment for not more than sixty days or by both such fine and imprisonment for a first offense, or by a fine of not more than five thousand dollars or imprisonment for not more than one year, or by both such fine and imprisonment for a second or subsequent offense.
