You may be able to have these charges dismissed under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution's guarantee of free speech. Cursing is a form of speech. However, if you were behaving in a disorderly manner in other ways, the Constitution may not help you.

You can read more about it here:

My son was threatened with a gun while standing in this drivway by his next door neighbor. My two grandchildren ages 3 and 6 and myself were standing with my son in his driveway and he and the neighbor were arguing. . The neighbor was about 40 feet away and cocked and pointed his gun at my son, as myself and my son's two daughters stood together on the driveway. The neighbor repeatedly pointed the fun in our direction and told me he was going to shoot my son in front of me. My son has pressed charges with the local Justice of the Peace after a police report was made right after the incident after our 911 call. I have been told that the neighbor committed aggravated assault. I am confused why the neighbor was not arrested on the spot. My son had to press charges with a local JP. This took place in St. James Parish, Louisiana. The neighbor says he knows the sheriff and DA and he will not be arrested or prosecuted for this crime. What should we do if he is not arrested.? What authorities can we go to?

I was at home sitting in passenger side of car throwing up blood from having a seizure. Rock Hill S.C. arrested me for PDC... I had 3 shots of yager. but when person having a seizure your suppose to turn them on side and make sure they don't hurt themselves... not put them in hand cuffs and in back of cop car. Right? or Wrong?

I was charged and plead guilty to public disorderly conduct when I was 20 years old. I'll be 27 in August. This is my only arrest. Will it be very difficult for me to pass a background check for a job?

I was arrested for PDC in the middle of a lake after making a 911 call about two persons going over board at night and I couldn't get to them. My girlfriend and I calmly answered all their questions and kept quiet until we were asked more questions. I had been drinking but wasn't operating the boat. The persons that went over board were picked up and were ok and while we waited on them to be brought back the questioning continued and became very aggressive and threatening and the next thing I know I'm in cuffs charged with PDC. No other people were around us and again we were calm and cooperative . There were several other officers present and they stated that they had no idea what I had said or done to make the arresting officer mad. I feel like I've been wrongly charged...what can I do ?
