Terms Used In South Carolina Code 59-67-220
- school bus: shall be construed to mean every motor vehicle owned by a public or governmental agency and operated for the transportation of children to or from school or privately owned and operated for compensation for the transportation of children to or from school. See South Carolina Code 59-67-10
No gasoline tank on or in any vehicle used as a school bus shall be filled while the engine is running or, except in an emergency, when there are pupils in the bus.
