Ohio Code > Title 37 > Chapter 3717 > § 3717.04 - Rules regarding retail food establishments and food service operationsThe director of agriculture, the public health council, and the director of health have the exclusive power in this state to adopt rules regarding retail food establishments and food service operations. The rules adopted under this chapter shall be applied uniformly throughout this state. All rules adopted under this chapter shall be adopted in accordance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code. Subject to the approval of the joint committee on agency rule review, portions of the rules may be adopted by referencing all or any part of any federal regulations pertaining to food safety.
