The U.S. Code of Federal Regulations as hosted by LawServer comes from the U.S. Government Printing Office, and is updated regularly as the GPO updates its own version of the Code. The GPO does not immediately update the Code when a new regulation is published, however. So to bring your research up to the date it is sometimes necessary to look for regulations published since the latest version of the Code. That information is available here.
