New Mexico Statutes > Chapter 57 > Article 22 > § 57-22-2 - Purpose

The purpose of the Charitable Solicitations Act [Chapter 57, Article 22 NMSA 1978] is to authorize the attorney general to monitor, supervise and enforce the charitable purposes of charitable organizations and regulate professional fundraisers operating in this state.
