Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 12.75.040

  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • Writ: A formal written command, issued from the court, requiring the performance of a specific act.

The person on whom a writ is served shall bring the body of the person in custody or under restraint, according to the command of the writ, except in the cases provided in Alaska Stat. § 12.75.050.
