Alaska Statutes 43.19.020 – Commissioner of revenue to represent department

(a) The commissioner shall represent this state on the Multistate Tax Commission.

state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

(b) The member representing this state on the multistate commission may be represented by an alternate designated by the commissioner.
