At least ten days prior to the time fixed, the board shall publish a notice of the hearing by one insertion in the newspaper circulated in the district that the board deems most likely to give notice to the district’s inhabitants of the proposed exclusion.

  • Board: as used in this chapter , means the board of supervisors of the county in which a district is formed, or in which it is proposed to form a district. See California Health and Safety Code 4862
  • District: as used in this chapter , means a sewer maintenance district formed pursuant to this chapter or pursuant to any law which it supersedes. See California Health and Safety Code 4861
