The Commissioner of Education may, to assist the state in meeting its obligations pursuant to the decision in Sheff v. O’Neill, 238 Conn. 1 (1996), or any related stipulation or order in effect, as determined by the Commissioner of Education, transfer funds appropriated for the Sheff settlement to the following: (1) Grants for interdistrict cooperative programs pursuant to § 10-74d, (2) grants for state charter schools pursuant to § 10-66ee, (3) grants for the interdistrict public school attendance program pursuant to § 10-266aa, (4) grants for interdistrict magnet schools pursuant to § 10-264l, and (5) to the Technical Education and Career System for programming.
