(a) There shall be a Transportation Strategy Board projects account, which shall be a nonlapsing account within the Special Transportation Fund.

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.

(b) For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004, five million dollars of the moneys received or collected by the state or any officer thereof on account of, or derived from, the incremental revenues received pursuant to § 14-50a shall be deposited into the account established under subsection (a) of this section and shall be used to provide funding for the projects and purposes described in § 13b-57h.

(c) For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006, the Treasurer shall transfer the sum of twenty-five million three hundred thousand dollars from the resources of the Special Transportation Fund into the account established under subsection (a) of this section and such funds shall be used to provide funding for the projects and purposes of the Transportation Strategy Board. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007, the Treasurer shall transfer the sum of twenty million three hundred thousand dollars from the resources of the Special Transportation Fund into the account established under subsection (a) of this section and such funds shall be used to provide funding for the projects and purposes described in § 13b-57h. For the fiscal years ending June 30, 2008, to June 30, 2011, inclusive, the Treasurer shall annually transfer the sum of fifteen million three hundred thousand dollars from the resources of the Special Transportation Fund into the account established under subsection (a) of this section and such funds shall be used to provide funding for the projects and purposes described in § 13b-57h. For the fiscal years ending June 30, 2012, to June 30, 2015, inclusive, the Treasurer shall annually transfer the sum of fifteen million dollars from the resources of the Special Transportation Fund into the account established under subsection (a) of this section and such funds shall be used to fund the projects and purposes described in § 13b-57h.
