(a) Except as provided in § 14-166, the provisions of this chapter shall apply to all motor vehicles at the time of initial registration or when a change of registration is required under the provisions of § 14-16 by reason of a sale for consideration.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 14-169
- Commissioner: means the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles. See Connecticut General Statutes 14-165
- Vehicle: means a motor vehicle as defined by §. See Connecticut General Statutes 14-165
(b) The commissioner shall not require an application for a certificate of title upon the renewal of the registration of a vehicle.
(c) The commissioner shall note on the face of the registration of each vehicle for which a certificate of title has been issued a statement to that effect.
