Connecticut General Statutes 14-72 – Suspension, revocation or refusal to renew school license
The commissioner may suspend, revoke or refuse to renew any school license if: (a) The licensee has made a material false statement or concealed a material fact in connection with the application for a license or the renewal thereof; (b) the licensee has failed to comply with any of the provisions of this part or any of the regulations of the commissioner; (c) the licensee or any partner or officer of such licensee has been guilty of fraud or fraudulent practices in relation to the business conducted under the license, or guilty of inducing another person to resort to fraud or fraudulent practices in relation to securing for himself or another a license to drive a motor vehicle; (d) the licensee has failed to maintain satisfactory insurance to meet damage claims as required by § 14-70.

- another: may extend and be applied to communities, companies, corporations, public or private, limited liability companies, societies and associations. See Connecticut General Statutes 1-1
- Commissioner: includes the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles and any assistant to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles who is designated and authorized by, and who is acting for, the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles under a designation. See Connecticut General Statutes 14-1
- Drive: means to drive, operate or be in physical control of a motor vehicle, including a motor vehicle being towed by another. See Connecticut General Statutes 14-1
- Fraud: Intentional deception resulting in injury to another.
- Officer: includes any constable, state marshal, inspector of motor vehicles, state policeman or other official authorized to make arrests or to serve process, provided the officer is in uniform or displays the officer's badge of office in a conspicuous place when making an arrest. - Person: includes any individual, corporation, limited liability company, association, copartnership, company, firm, business trust or other aggregation of individuals but does not include the state or any political subdivision thereof, unless the context clearly states or requires. See Connecticut General Statutes 14-1
- Vehicle: includes any device suitable for the conveyance, drawing or other transportation of persons or property, whether operated on wheels, runners, a cushion of air or by any other means. See Connecticut General Statutes 14-1
