Terms Used In Florida Statutes 601.76
- Department: means the Department of Citrus. See Florida Statutes 601.03
- Department of Agriculture: means the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. See Florida Statutes 601.03
- Person: means any natural person, partnership, association, corporation, trust, estate, or other legal entity. See Florida Statutes 601.03
Any formula required to be filed with the Department of Agriculture shall be deemed a trade secret as defined in s. 812.081, is confidential and exempt from s. 119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution, and may be divulged only to the Department of Agriculture or to its duly authorized representatives or upon court order when necessary in the enforcement of this law. A person who receives such a formula from the Department of Agriculture under this section shall maintain the confidentiality of the formula. This section is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act in accordance with s. 119.15 and shall stand repealed on October 2, 2021, unless reviewed and saved from repeal through reenactment by the Legislature.
