Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 103D-1101

  • Goods: means all property, including but not limited to equipment, equipment leases, materials, supplies, printing, insurance, and processes, including computer systems and software, excluding land or a permanent interest in land, leases of real property, and office rentals. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 103D-104
  • Personal property: All property that is not real property.
  • Personal property: means all tangible goods, including equipment, materials and supplies, except land, buildings, and improvement to the land. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 103D-1101

     [§103D-1101]  Definitions.  As used in this part, unless the context clearly requires otherwise:

     “Personal property” means all tangible goods, including equipment, materials and supplies, except land, buildings, and improvement to the land.

     “Surplus personal property” means any personal property that no longer has any use to this State or personal property acquired from the United States government.  “Surplus personal property” includes obsolete, scrap, and excess personal property that has completed its useful life cycle.
