Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes > Chapter 92 > Part IV - Notice of Public Hearings
- Board: means the board of land and natural resources as provided in chapter 26. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 206-1
- Bonds: means any bonds, notes, interim certificates, debentures, or other obligations. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 206-1
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- county: includes the city and county of Honolulu. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 1-22
- Development project: means a specific unit for development within a designated area for which a program of acquisition and development is established. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 206-1
- Escrow: Money given to a third party to be held for payment until certain conditions are met.
- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
- Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
- Obligee: means any bondholder, agents or trustees for any bondholders, or lessor demising to the board property used in conjunction with a development project, or any assignee of the lessor's interest or any part thereof, and the federal government when it is a party to any contract with the board. - Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
