Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 110 ILCS 805/3-29.6
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
All faculty and staff members of a community college are free to communicate their views on any matter of private or public concern to any member of the legislative, executive, or judicial branch of government, State or federal, without notice to or prior approval of the community college, so long as they do not represent that they are speaking for or on behalf of the community college.
