Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 210 ILCS 30/2

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The Illinois Department of Public Health shall upon receiving reports made under this Act, seek to protect residents and prevent further harm to the resident who was the subject of the report and other residents in the facility. In performing these duties, the Department may utilize such protective services of other State departments, commissions, boards or other agencies and any voluntary agencies as are available.
