- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
Insofar as practicable, the provisions of this Act applicable to the father and child relationship shall apply to the mother and child relationship including, but not limited to, the obligation to support.
