Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 44-1119
- Person: means individual, partnership, association, organization, corporation, legal representative, trustee, trustee in bankruptcy or receiver. See Kansas Statutes 44-1112
- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
If any provision of this act or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of the act and the application of the provision to other persons not similarly situated or to other circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
