  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

Nothing contained herein shall be construed to allow a corporation except as provided in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 17-2706, and amendments thereto, or a limited liability company except as provided in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 17-7668, and amendments thereto to practice, offer, or undertake to practice or hold itself out as practicing optometry.
