- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
If any section of this act, or any part thereof, is adjudged to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder or any other section or part thereof.
