As used in Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 75-5663 to 75-5670, inclusive, and amendments thereto:
(a) “Advisory committee” means the advisory committee on trauma established under Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-5664, and amendments thereto.

- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
(b) “Council” means one of the regional trauma councils.
(c) “Hospital” means a hospital as defined by Kan. Stat. Ann. § 65-425, and amendments thereto.
(d) “Physician” means a person licensed by the state board of healing arts to practice medicine and surgery.
(e) “Secretary” means the secretary of health and environment.
