Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:1501
- Board: means the board of trustees of the Clerks' of Court Retirement and Relief Fund. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:1503
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- System: means the Clerks' of Court Retirement and Relief Fund. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:1503
There shall be a retirement system which shall be administered and managed by a board of trustees for the purpose of providing regular, disability, and survivor benefits pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter for clerks of court, their deputies and other employees, and the beneficiaries of such clerks of court, their deputies, and other employees. The retirement system shall have the powers and privileges of a corporation.
