As used in this Chapter, “contract for dance studio lessons and other services” means a contract for instruction in ballroom or other types of dancing, and includes lessons and other services, whether given to students individually or in groups. This Chapter does not include contracts for professional services rendered or furnished by a person licensed under the provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 17:3141.1 et seq. governing the operations of proprietary schools.
