Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 20-A Sec. 12952
- Authority: means the Finance Authority of Maine. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 20-A Sec. 12951
- Health care provider: means a person licensed or certified by this State as a medical, dental or behavioral health practitioner and performing within the scope of the person's practice as defined by state law or a person with a professionally recognized medical, dental or behavioral health credential. - Program: means the Maine Health Care Provider Loan Repayment Program established in section 12952. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 20-A Sec. 12951
The Maine Health Care Provider Loan Repayment Program is established within the Finance Authority of Maine for the purpose of increasing the number of health care providers practicing in the State. [PL 2021, c. 346, §2 (NEW).]
