As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following words shall have the following meanings. [PL 1975, c. 519, §13 (RPR).]
1. Approved. “Approved” means as approved by the Board of Occupational Safety and Health.

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

- Employ: means employ, suffer or permit to work. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 26 Sec. 563
- Employee: means any person, including a minor whether lawfully or unlawfully employed, who is employed or permitted to work by the State, a state agency, county, municipal corporation, school district or other public corporation or political subdivision. - Employer: shall mean the State, state agency, county, municipal corporation, school district or other political corporation or political subdivisions having employees. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 26 Sec. 563
