  • Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
  • Municipality: means a city or town, except as provided in chapter 225. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 2001
The construction or occupancy of any structure erected or affixed under any lease under this chapter is subject to the building, fire, garage, health and zoning ordinances, bylaws and regulations applicable in the municipality.
