  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • United States: includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

All moneys received in the Iron County school fund, Reynolds County school fund, Jefferson County school fund, and Washington County school fund from the payment of a civil penalty pursuant to a consent decree filed in the United States district court for the eastern district of Missouri in December, 2011, in the case of United States of America and State of Missouri v. the Doe Run Resources Corporation d/b/a “The Doe Run Company,” and the Buick Resource Recycling Facility, LLC, because of environmental violations shall not be included in any district’s local effort figure, as such term is defined in section 163.011. The provisions of this section shall terminate on July 1, 2016.
