- Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
The publisher of any newspaper shall receive for publishing the notice required in section 271.100, and filing the affidavit thereof with the clerk, one dollar and sixty cents.
