  • Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.

Whenever judgment shall be rendered against any person or persons, under the provisions of sections 537.300 to 537.320, by any associate circuit judge or circuit judge, an execution shall issue thereon against the goods and chattels of any such defendant or defendants.
