Major component part means an engine, with or without accessories, a transmission, a cowl, a door, a frame, a body, a rear clip, or a nose.

  • Body: means that portion of a vehicle which determines its shape and appearance and is attached to the frame. See Nebraska Statutes 60-105
  • Frame: means that portion of a vehicle upon which other components are affixed, such as the engine, body, or transmission. See Nebraska Statutes 60-116
  • Major component part: means an engine, with or without accessories, a transmission, a cowl, a door, a frame, a body, a rear clip, or a nose. See Nebraska Statutes 60-120
  • Nose: means that portion of the body of a vehicle from the front to the firewall when acquired or transferred as a complete unit. See Nebraska Statutes 60-125
