(1) The certificate of registration and validation decal issued shall be valid for two years. The registration period for snowmobiles shall expire on the last day of September two years after the year of issuance, and renewal shall become delinquent on the first day of the following month.

  • Month: shall mean calendar month. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
  • Owner: means a person, firm, or corporation which holds a legal title of a motor vehicle or trailer. See Nebraska Statutes 60-342
  • Registration period: means the period from the date of registration pursuant to section 60-392 to the first day of the month following one year after such date. See Nebraska Statutes 60-3,184
  • Snowmobile: means a self-propelled vehicle designed to travel on snow or ice or a natural terrain steered by wheels, skis, or runners and propelled by a belt-driven track with or without steel cleats. See Nebraska Statutes 60-350
  • Year: shall mean calendar year. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801

(2) Such registration may be renewed every two years in the same manner as provided for the original registration.

(3) Every owner of a snowmobile shall renew his or her registration in the manner prescribed in section 60-3,209 upon payment of the registration fees provided in section 60-3,210.
