Before issuing any operator’s license or state identification card under the Motor Vehicle Operator’s License Act, the department may verify, with the issuing agency, the issuance, validity, and completeness of each document required to be presented by a person pursuant to sections 60-484, 60-484.04, 60-484.07, and 60-4,144.

Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 60-484.06
- Department: means the Department of Motor Vehicles. See Nebraska Statutes 60-465.01
- Motor vehicle: means all vehicles propelled by any power other than muscular power. See Nebraska Statutes 60-471
- Person: shall mean every natural person, firm, partnership, limited liability company, association, or corporation. See Nebraska Statutes 60-476
- State: when applied to different states of the United States shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories organized by Congress. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
