Upon the conviction of any person required to be registered under the provisions of NRS 453.011 to 453.552, inclusive, of violation of any federal or state law relating to any controlled substance, the prosecuting attorney shall cause copies of the judgment of conviction to be sent to the Board and to any other licensing agency by whom the convicted person has been licensed or registered under the laws of the State of Nevada to engage in the practice of his or her business or profession.

Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 453.233

  • controlled substance: means a drug, immediate precursor or other substance which is listed in schedule I, II, III, IV or V for control by the State Board of Pharmacy pursuant to NRS 453. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.031
  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
