Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 294-A:26

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

Application for a certificate of authority by a foreign professional corporation shall be to the secretary of state. The application for the purpose of rendering professional services shall include a statement that all the shareholders and those of its directors and officers as are required by the laws of its state of incorporation and by N.H. Rev. Stat. § 294-A:20 are licensed in one or more states, territories of the United States or the District of Columbia to render a professional service described in the statement of purpose of the corporation.
