  • Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.
  • Writ: A formal written command, issued from the court, requiring the performance of a specific act.
If logs are attached, the officer making the attachment may pay the boomage thereon, if any, and return the amount so paid on the writ, and it shall be included in the costs recovered.
