  • Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.
  • Plaintiff: The person who files the complaint in a civil lawsuit.
When living animals, or goods liable to perish or waste or to be greatly reduced in value by keeping, or which cannot be kept without great expense, are attached, and the parties do not consent to a sale, the officer, on application of either of the parties, while the attachment continues and before judgment on which the plaintiff can take execution, may cause the same to be examined in the manner prescribed in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 511:32-34.
