Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 546-A:3
- Obligee: means any person to whom a duty of support is owed. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 546-A:1
- Obligor: means any person owing a duty of support. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 546-A:1
- State: includes any state, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 546-A:1
An obligor present or resident in this state has the duty of support as defined in this chapter regardless of the presence of residence of the obligee.
